Baltimore's population fell by more than 6,700 people in the 12 months that ended July 2016, the U.S. Census Bureau reported Thursday, as the number of people leaving the city for other parts of the United States doubled.
The decline wiped out the city's meager gains under Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who sought to draw 10,000 families to the city. And the loss came as the city grapples with rising crime, a homicide spike, a school budget gap and the fallout from the death of Freddie Gray.

Baltimore is now becoming a lost city like Detroit. I saw yesterday that the fast food places like Wendys , Burger King and Taco Bell etc. have installed bullet proof glass to protect the employees. These were installed in minority neighborhoods , so what does that tell you. This country is so screwed up in the Judicial field it's not funny.

They are coming across the bridge and coming over here which they are destroying quality of life, just look at Salisbury.

I saw a video with a newly elected Baltimore city councilman. He said population has decreased by 400k so he welcomes refugees, illegals and undocumented into his city to live. They will be safe from law enforcement. NEVER addressed why almost half of the city has moved away or why so many murders. He just kept repeating it's a safe sanctuary city. BIZARRE BEHAVIOR

With fiscal stupidity like the millions gifted to the Gray family before a wrongful death determination was even made (and still hasn't been made) Baltimore can expect to fail, again and again. This amount was given to the family to avoid the legal costs the city would have experienced, costs which might have exceeded the award amount. It wasn't rightful, it was politics.

That is just one settlement of many. All over this country money is paid out for police abuse. You only object to this one because he was black.
The mayor at the time said that the money was partly paid out to "...heal the community." That says politics to me.
