Poll: Public Overwhelmingly Supports Trump Pause on Refugees

Donald Trump’s pro-American immigration reform is getting strong majority support from the public, despite the left’s portrayal of the policy as hateful and incompetent, and despite Democratic voters’ determination to obstruct the new president.

Reuters commissioned the poll and then tried to hide the resulting good news for Trump under a misleading headline, “Exclusive: Only a third of Americans think Trump’s travel ban will make them more safe.”

But the most direct question in the poll showed a seven-point advantage for Trump’s policy, of 48 support to 41 percent opposition.

Of Course we do!!! it's the paid Marxist agitators. The modern-day brownshirts! these people are criminal communists traders to this nation! What makes this country great is you can say what you feel just dont stoop to violence and destruction. Regardless their misguided cause falls on deaf ears. I pray very hard to God to protect our president. We dont need a repeat of the night of the long knives. Which these vile evil lemmings would blindly carry out. Truly sickening this national communist nest of evil evil physcos and traitors. You have the University's to thank, the public education system, the welfare system, and our government. Trump needs to drain the swamp and he is referring to these vile outside Communists agaitors and their american cousins!!!

I agree. I think the major objections were for people who already had valid visas (indicating they'd complied with current law for entering the country). That seems to have been sorted out for the moment.
Hopefully the "safe zones" will be sorted out quickly and people will be able to return to their countries.

I recently returned from a trip out of the country and was surprised at the approval and elation from the people of various European countries over President Trumps recent changes in immigration policy. Repeatedly I was told that they were not against offering persecuted people asylum in their country as long as they would abide by the laws of their country. After a brief period of time they found that the immigrants demanded changes in the laws and traditions of their new home to fit their preferences.Crime rates have spiked in the areas where the immigrants settled. People now had to lock their doors in areas where they never had to before. Rapes became a common occurrence. Overall, they were sorry that they extended welcome to these people and are looking for a way to reverse their decision.
