What's With These Water Towers?
Between the surface rust and the mold underneath, where's the pride? Many of these communities have home owners associations but it looks like it's more like do as I say, not as I do.

Not many home owners associations /communities have their own waste water and tower facilities. This is mainly a town issue. Which is still majorly funded by the citizens by way of outrageous taxes. But when hardly nobody shows up to council meetings to complain, these issues only get dealt with when it to the point it's almost completely dilapidated.
6:43, Thanks for the heads up. You are so right when it comes to people not participating in council meetings. What I have learned over the years I have been going to council meeting is that many elected officials belittle citizens. Many people, (most) are not public speakers and become very nervous as well. What we need are charismatic citizens who can represent our wants and needs. Would you agree?
Most people that have a political badge want to control and have power , I don't know why , you can look at politics over the years . These people were elected to be representatives for the public. Any and all decisions should involve the public in some fashion , then the responsibility is theirs . I can only assume that it's power they want . We do have many good ones , Andy Harris , TRUMP are two. I have a hard time speaking to the public , however , I had over 100 employees and had know problem speaking to them. Another thing about mold , it's very over rated as being a bad thing and a health issue.
Why is the fruitland one like that under the pretty paint and cost like 7 times more than the new one at SU? Questions people questions....I say follow the money! First place I would look is the police station, be building, new vehicles, a hummer (fit fruitland cops lol), that's our taxes people that is just the a little bit that's in your face I would follow the money like I said but looks like the feds are tied up right now with eci but the corruption don't start and stop there my friends not a chance.
These are County owned just have the logo from local homeowners group on them agreed officials don't want you to speak just watch how you get treated and curse words used by gee Williams when you go to Berlin town hall
Shawn.... Oh please share where the Fruitland Tower cost 7 times as much. The new Tower in Fruitland is a half million gallon tank that was part of a huge project of running all the lines to hundreds of homes with an 8 million dollar price tag funded my the state for the most part. Do with your wisdom, how much was the SU tank?
Joe, your Charismatic Citizens here east of Salisbury own here in OC/West OC but do not live here year round. Hence, as you know, the ghost town mentality arrives the middle of Oct to April. Those left minimal population, work very hard just to get by and don't attend the association/council meetings so the same ol' same ol' continues.
I have no clue how to break this constant Ground Hog day repeat.
Yes. It's why I said it. The people are sitting idle hoping others will make changes. Only way for anything to change is for the people to speak. Act. Look at BLM. While doing it wrong. ... things are changing. They're acting. Being heard.

The ball tower you show has looked like this for several years. It's not a very attractive invitation to that housing development.

Drones can now accomplish that which a huge sandblasting and painting job used to require. The tanks pictured would be within their scope.
