An Interesting Comment Worthy Of A Post

Anonymous said...

When you work in the bubble that is the Executive's office, you think you are wildly popular and invincible apparently. They are all in for a rude awakening. Whenever I'm involved in a conversation and county government comes up, people are invariably negative and think Culver and his staff are out of touch with the majority of the people. He is certainly not living up to his campaign promises. You can tell the difference of someone who is working for the good of the people and one who is working to try and keep his job. You better hope the Democrats will vote for you Culver, because you are losing lots of Republican votes.

Sounds like this was written by a BOE employee. They seem to find a lot wrong with anyone not willing to give them gobs of cash with no expectation of public benefit.

He has lost mine.

I will not vote for him again. Wish I never had in the first place.
Exactly. He's in another county or something.

Everyone from Drunkberg to the chatty gossip queen receptionist in that office is some sort of corrupt/not working.

No worse then Rick was doing

Culver is in trouble and he doesn't even realize it. When he got elected to CE, it went to his head & he thought everyone just loves him. No, Culver, it was a vote against Rick Pollitt and you were the less of the two evils. There was high hope for you to do go since you "talked the talk." You are nothing but an empty suit.

No one in my family or circle of friends will support Culver in the next election. He hires his daughter to work in the finance office then fails to pay his own taxes on time. to cover it up he cancels the tax sale. Very underhanded, now this is a comment that is worthy of a post.

1:29 it doesn't have to be a BOE employee to see what is wrong on the 3rd floor of the GOB. Culver has not lived up to his promises, plain and simple. Elected officials pay a price for that.

3:40 is bang on.
It went to his head. And he thinks Drunkenberg is his lifeline in a sea he knows he does not have all the knowledge and understanding of. Trouble is, that makes him a poor judge of Wynne's performance, which itself isn't worth the ink.
Blind leading the blinder.

3:21 you are so right. The fact that Bobby has not taken care of those two proves he isn't right for the job. You have to watch every word you say when in his office or it will be repeated, twisted or leaked to the fat blogger. Those two are not trustworthy and are not working in his best interest.

Pollitt thought he was invincible. How'd that work out for him? Culver needs to wise up or he will be one and done.

The major problem!! not allot of people vote and the candidates we get, have no sence of civic duty! If they do such as Joe or Donald Trump. They will do anything in their power to stop it. It terrifies them. Their greedy Self serving interests have a underlying motive in all they do! all the way up to DC. I find hard to believe that no one who's ever run in this city tried to REDUCE budgets and waste. It's always all talk no action! nepotism, who can get the better contracts, nudge, nudge wink, wink. Oh yeah its corrupt to the Core! Its a constant battle for them to maintain the good old boy status quo no matter who's in office. It looks to us like, you're saying "to hell with joe the plumber whos outta work" SHAKE IT UP the current system is frigging broke! The BOE is the first place to start trimming the useless union corruption and fatcats!

Arrogance obscures the need to surround himself with people smarter than himself. Insecurity trumps action.
Between them they do not have a clear comprehensive and consistent plan. Reacting, responding one crisis at a time, fragmented inconsistent policies, .... amateur hour

Culver turned out to be a bigger liberal than Pollitt , even Pollitt would not have done the free Wor Wic tuition if he had thought of it.

Jobs.Jobs.Jobs. Even the CE needs a job

Bob is doing a great job - just ask him!

5:12 everyone in his office needs a job. They have theirs so they don't care about the rest of the county.

Strausburg would take great offense to this. He is ALWAYS the smartest one in the room. He is sooooo smart, he has buffalo-ed insecure Culver into believing that he needs him. Culver is scared to death he'll look bad or make a wrong move. Ironically, the man that he thinks is his lifeline will end up taking him down.

Its not just the C.E. office that is in disarray. It is many departments. From illegal and legal under the influence to getting compensated for 8 hours of labor and maybe doing 2 to 3 hours it is completely crazy. Most of the underworld of slackers comment what i do on my own time is my business and f#$& the county.

Anyone planning to pressure Culver in the primary?

Anonymous said...

You both nailed it!
Why is this not obvious to everyone?

What about Bob Culvers $6,000 in back real estate taxes. Oh, that's right. He canceled the County's annual tax sale so that he wouldn't lose his slum property.

Anonymous said...

culver has become a political animal that has no skills. he just wants to cruise through unchallenged. he wont do anything that would upset the status quo in wicomico county. not what we hoped for! just another democrat in disguise.

Anonymous said...

He won because of democrats and needs them again.

I agree Joe. Bob Culver failed to pay his taxes on time because he is so far in debt that he cancelled the annual county tax sale. How would that look when the County Executive loses his property to his own county's tax sale. LMAO.

Bob Culver gets nearly $100,000 per year, no car payment and all the gas that he wants and he can't even pay $6,000 is annual property taxes. What a real Douche Bag Bob Culver is. This man can't even manage his own taxes and you want him to manage yours?? Not any longer.

When Bob Culver used Mike Dunn from the Greater Salisbury Committee and Ernie Culver from the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce to do his heavy lifting to try to get the #FreeTuition scholarship passed at Wor-Wic I realized then that Bob Culver was a low life and he was grasping for straw at that point. That is when I realized Bob Culver had no friends. None!

How did Mike Dunn get that position at the Greater Salisbury Committee anyway? WTF is the Greater Salisbury Committee anyway?

Does anyone know why Bob Culver hire Cathy Bassett?

You better got that right. Pollitt was much smarter than that. Pollitt was even a Board of Ed Member.
