Delaware State University part of scholarship program for undocumented immigrant youth

Delaware State University and TheDream.US jointly announced a historic partnership that will implement a unique scholarship program for immigrant high school graduates who face barriers in some states in attending college.

TheDream.US Opportunity Scholarship is the nation’s largest scholarship program for DREAMers – immigrant youth who came to the U.S. without documentation. In most cases, the individuals came to the U.S. with their undocumented parents.

The organization has partnered with Delaware Gov. Jack Markell and Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy and their respective state universities – DSU and Eastern Connecticut State University – to provide scholarship recipients with admissions to institutions of higher education where they can enroll.

The co-founder of TheDream.US is Donald E. Graham, chairman of Graham Holding Company and former CEO and chairman of the Washington Post.

So now they're changing terminology to make it all more digestible. It's not all presentation and it still is what it is.Our government is full of officials who take the path of least resistance, and the longer they remain in office the less resistant they become.

The longer these people are in office, the less they serve its citizens. Illegals are not citizens.

Our justice system has been doing that for decades, "changing terminology" that is. But, they call it 'interpretation'. They interpret otherwise well written laws to suit their agenda.

The news on this site it good, but the comment section is FULL of whiny self righteous snobs... the CHILDREN of illegal immigrants had absolutely no say in coming into our country. They have grown up here AND IF they have taken advantage of being in the USA and gotten outstanding grades and act as exceptional young adults then why shouldn't they be rewarded with a scholarship???? I think this is great.... and please don't forget Mexicans are Native Americans... i thought that was obvious.
