‘The Simpsons’ Mocks the 2016 Candidates, Nails It [VIDEO]

The fighting and negative advertisements by Democrats and Republicans in this campaign cycle has created a lot of anxiety for many Americans — including Marge Simpson.

The Simpsons released a video on Saturday that featured Marge waking up from a nightmare after hearing all the mudslinging and name calling by the candidates.

“I can’t take it anymore,” Marge said. “Basic manners are gone from politics, what is it with these ding dongs.”

Homer tells his children that this was all like a bad dream “except it was real and will probably ruin your lives.” In an attempt to calm down his wife he tells her to imagine a reality where “Democrats, Republicans, and Donald Trump all get along.”

Marge fantasized all the candidates on a debate stage complimenting each other and singing How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You, but things got dark really quick.

After finishing the song the candidates started fighting again. “I was perfect the rest of you morons were flat,” Trump said.

The most flattering picture of Hillary yet. They took off about 40 pounds.

As if there isn't enough other television with political comments, now they have to make the Simpsons political. Now I have to quit watching the show, after all these years. I'll watch the news if I want political comment, not a cartoon.
