BREAKING NEWS: Contraband intercepted at Eastern Correctional Institution

(Westover, MD) On February 23, 2016 at approximately 1154 hours, personnel at the Eastern Shore Correctional Institute(ECI) contacted the Maryland State Police, Princess Anne Barrack in reference to an individual attempting to deliver contraband to an inmate at the facility. Correctional Officers had recovered numerous condoms full of tobacco (142 grams) and suspected synthetic marijuana (111 grams) from Jordan Scheminant (23 Y/O W/F) of Easton, Maryland. Scheminant was attempting to visit an inmate and provide him with the contraband. After the items were recovered from Scheminant, she left ECI in a 1992 green Ford Taurus. Troopers from the Princess Anne Barrack located and stopped the vehicle on Rt. 13, Princess Anne, Maryland. The driver was identified as Jordan Scheminant and was arrested. Scheminant was charged with delivering contraband to a correctional facility and was taken before a District Court Commissioner. Scheminant was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond from the commissioners’ office. The investigation is continuing in cooperation with the Department of Corrections.

To Everyone:

SBYNews is going to break a story in the next day or two that is going to blow everyone's mind referencing newly proposed laws.

This news is so big that we may decide to publish only that article for the entire day, it's that big and that important.

It's a ton of reading and in order to garnish the proper understanding and comparisons, it will take a while to put it all together.

That being said, if you think unsecured bond, (in this case) is bad, oh my.

More to come soon.

This isn't Jordan's first trip to the rodeo. She was in a heroin bust in Easton a couple of years ago, and was busted this last October for a CDS violation. She may be pretty now, but she won't be for long.

Local Jail lets Work release stop and buy tobacco products on their way to the Civic Center for work. They also walk to the store for smokes when working at the Habitat for Humanity store.
