Cop Who Was Fired After Posting That He’d Kill Any Anti-Police Protesters Who Threaten His Family Is Back on the Job

SAN JOSE, Calif. (TheBlaze/AP) — A San Jose police officer who was fired last year for posting comments online that threaten to kill any anti-police protestors who threaten him or his family is back on the force.

The San Jose Mercury News reports Phillip White rejoined the San Jose Police Department on Feb. 10 after convincing an independent arbitrator that termination was too harsh a punishment for his actions.

White posted several comments to his Twitter account in December 2014 saying he would kill any anti-police protesters who threatened his family. He appeared to challenge demonstrators to confront him.

More from the Mercury News:

White’s most inflammatory tweets, during a heated back-and-forth with other users critical of his string of comments criticizing Black Lives Matter demonstrations, included: “Threaten me or my family and I will use my God given and law appointed right and duty to kill you. #CopsLivesMatter” and “By the way, if anyone feels they can’t breathe or their lives matter, I’ll be at the movies tonight, off duty, carrying my gun.”

White law enforcement don't gave rights any more. God forbid you defend yourselves and actually do your job. Can only pray all law enforcement would band together and take good old Capt. Higgins stand down in Louisiana. Bet that would make some change. Don't know how they deal with the ignorance and lack of respect and well being of society and its laws. Guess we're just supposed to act like bunch animals

Realistically don't know how there aren't more problems arise than there are. If you really want to see what law enforcement is subjected to watch first 48 hours sometime. Literally dealing with borderline mental illness that consumes drugs and alcohol daily that's just an accident waiting to happen

Think it was merely a reference point to show the mentality level these guys have to deal with on daily basis. Such a waste time money to chase down bunch illiterate law breaking unproductive members of society. Then we have to hear how their rights and living conditions aren't. Sufficient. Get a real life. Truly can't understand how anybody could be a police officer or a teacher today dealing with such ignorance

Good for him. I'd do the same thing for my family, as should we all, law enforcement or not. Its about good fighting evil, no matter what hat you wear.

1:13 PM, you're an idiot. Who says he broke the law? Where did you get such information? It's those worthless thugs that are breaking the law. The police have to deal with those idiots everyday. That's enough to drive anyone crazy. Now who is the simpleton?

for starters, the same one I was quoting said he broke the law. so in turn, that would make YOU the simpleton. any more questions genius?
