The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office statistics for 2015 are as follows:
Worcester County Sheriff Deputies handled 42309 calls for service.
Number of warrant arrest 1329
Number of DWI arrests 55
Number of criminal arrests 227
Number of Civil Citations issued 33
Civil and criminal papers processed and served. 10531
Out of state extraditions of prisoners. 55
In state transports of prisoners. 203
Sex offenders were checked and registered. 463
Traffic stops performed. 6777
During the course of a year the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office provides services and civil process service where the costs are reimbursed to the county through grants and fees assessed for the work provided. In 2015 the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office recouped 464,736 dollars that was paid back to Worcester County for expenses of services provided by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.
