Lord, Lord, please send us our deliverer. Watching President Reagan just makes it worse. Take a look at the 3 Democratic candidates for president and the 8 Republicans........is this the best we can come up with? Is this the best we can do? Is this the future of our country? 300,000,000 million people and just these 11 people? My God what has happened to the country Mr. Reagan led? I am 66 and already looking forward to going to my "real home" because today's world sure isn't it. I'm going to look President Reagan up and make sure he knows how much he was missed by many people. So many people of greatness in this country but those 11, with the required and necessary millions and millions of "campaign financing" are all we are stuck with. Damn it to hell.

Here here, 7:48PM. I am right there with you. I was a young adult when Reagan was president and we have not seen such eloquence since. He was a superior president and effective leader. His conservatism was real not some prefabbed garbage told by political animals. He was a true patriot. Served in the military, resonated with millions - both Republicans and Democrats. He was a very powerful person. Watching his speech the day of the Challenger disaster was thought-provoking as well as a stark contrast to what we have before us now.

Politicians and MSM bank on salacious headlines and catch phrasology like "Hope and Change" instead of just making it happen. The promises are veiled ambitions rather than genuine desire to preserve the America Dream and principles that have sustained this country long before they (the Politicians) were even born.
