In one of instance, vandals broke into Edgecombe Circle Elementary School overnight Monday, forcing the school to shut down for the day Tuesday.
"Our teacher came in at 6:30 in the morning to find her projector gone and their classroom ripped apart," said Laurel Freedman, executive director of Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School. "We've been open for 12 weeks. We're a new school, and in the 12 weeks we've been open, we've been broken into five times through our windows and twice in the last week."
"My window was open completely and my plant was on the ground and there was dirt all over my classroom," said Amanda Doran, an English language arts teacher at Lillie May. "I looked up and realized that my projector was gone and that my ceiling was ripped out."
Nearby at Banneker Blake Academy, thieves took 25 laptops on Oct. 12 and 11 more on Oct. 30

Poor design, poor security, poor management.
Probably sold the goods to Baltimore government officials. Be thankful that they did decide to have a CVS Pharmacy Weiner roast.
I would have locked the windows and doors, but that's just me...
They were desperate for an education, that had been denied to them by "racism" and "white privilege", so they had to break in. Towards that admirable aim, they took the class film projector and 25 school laptops.
Ah yes , our children of Baltimore , don't you just love them .
Don't get upset about this , it's called the FREE enterprise system
they get for free and sell it for the drugs they need. Up and coming entrepreneurs that this city recognizes as good citizens , if you don't believe me just ask the mayor. They have several branches in the city , a remodeling of police vehicles , distribution centers for prescription drugs and electronics and on and on. Ain't it great to have these opportunities . Funded and supported by the prior O'Malley group.
The entire city needs to be shut down.
