Paul Harvey was an American treasure. I listened to his "rest of the story" every day for years. Rest in peace Paul Harvey.

I miss Paul Harvey as well. I don't need a truck or care for religion, but I'm glad I watched this. It is moving.

There is nothing I like about Ram pickups, but this was BY FAR the best Super Bowl commercial ever made! I remember when it came on, it was so powerful that it completely silenced a house of 20+ rowdy football fans. At the end of the commercial I looked over to a friend of mine who is a third generation farmer (on both sides of his family). With a tear in his eye he said, "That was the best [explicit] commercial ever!" However, Paul Harvey forgot one thing, God needs somebody to feed the people of the world, so God made a farmer. People, companies and politicians need to start realizing and respecting the fact that without farmers we have no food. NO FARMS, NO FOOD! Thank a Farmer!

I am a farmer's daughter and have always been very proud of that. Daddy passed in 2005 at the age of 90. He dropped out of school in the seventh grade to help on his father's farm in the holler of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Wilkes County, NC. His family moved to Maryland when he was 16 to have a better life, farming was good in Maryland. He worked on the railroad and drove for what was then the Red Star Bus Line before he could get credit to buy a small farm. That small farm later became a memory because his last 35 years of life was spent on a 196 acre grain farm with Quantico Creek surrounding it. The oldest of four children, I was so proud the day my dad let me disk for the first time. He raised an adoring little girl and shaped her into the strong, independent, hard working, God fearing woman that I am today. The American Farmer is someday just going to be a faint memory. Please support your local farmers and May God Bless Them All.
