The attorney general’s office said Tuesday the settlement with inmate Wayne Boone is far below the $10,000 level that would require Board of Public Works approval. Spokesman David Nitkin wouldn’t disclose the exact amount.
Boone’s lawyer declined to comment.

Just keep giving those tax $$$ away.
a better solution would be to stop doing the things that lead to a lawsuit in the first place. which would include making the person doing said things partly responsible for any monies to be paid out and up to including termination of employment.
I support the correctional officers. Maybe 11:41am should spend some time in jail.
