Baltimore economy to feel impact of federal government shutdown

BALTIMORE —The threat of a government shutdown is looming again. This one has a possibility for next week.

If Congress can't break a stalemate over Planned Parenthood funding. The consequences will be far-reaching.

Head Start parents are concerned that Washington's budget battles will hurt at-risk children the most.

Capitol Hill observers contend nothing short of a miracle is going to get Congress to agree on spending. The budget impasse is spiraling toward a federal government shutdown next week.
