Angela Luckey, who has several family members buried at the American Memorial Park cemetery, said the “part that hurts the most” is when people, like herself, have trouble even finding their loved ones’ graves due to the severe neglect of the grounds.
The military veterans, some who served in Vietnam, World War I and World War II, and other people buried at the cemetery deserve more respect than they are getting, she told Blaze TV contributor Lawrence Jones.
“We have complained for years and years, and it just seems as though that it continues to go on deaf ears,” she added. “Nobody cares about the people out here that are buried.”

Terrible. This lady should organize a clean up utilizing church youth groups now while she works on getting this graveyard on the radar of local VFW's and other veteran groups.
“We have complained for years and years" Come on folks. Time to organize and give a little bit of yourselves. Quit waiting for someone else to deal with the problem. The vets buried there deserve that much.
Why do people always expect others to fix the problem for them. If her family is there why isn't she taking care of their grave. I agree with the comments above. Organize something to get the job done.
It is not a veteran's cemetery but a privately owned cemetery where veterans happen to be buried. It appears to be a black cemetery.
The question then becomes if the cemetery owners aren't stepping up to the plate then the local black community needs to. They are always sitting around complaining and waiting for someone else to fix their problems. This is their whole problem. They don't want to take any responsibility for anything.
It's a historic black cemetery. Call the NAACP. Let them organize and pay for a clean up and maintenance.
It's about time they did something productive.

They hate the white man but want him to help. Then they hate you for doing so. Go to the corner get some drugs and ripple and clean it up. The sad thing is the ones in those Graves can run circles around the bums of today.
The condition of that cemetery reminds me of the condition of some area neighborhoods, except that it's better kept and cleaner.
Always expecting it to be done by someone else, and on someone elses dime. When is it time to be accountable for yourselves? Its a privately owned black cemetery....the families of those buried there, and the land owner are responsible for upkeep. Organize an ongoing community-involved event to keep it clean. Call the Reverend Al or the Reverend Jesse...they love organizing things.
Jackson and Sharpton only want to start crapp not clean it up.
