Take a Federal Nickle, Get the Federal Noose

Senate bill 1177 is a bipartisan measure to federalize education, all in the name of preserving local control.

It will be imposed on charter schools and all private schools that accept a nickel of aid.

As I said 30 years ago, “If you take the government’s nickel, you also take its noose.”

S-1177 is about to pass.

Here is a warning:
Protecting our children from increasing oppressions and loss of freedoms will require not allowing federal S.1177 to pass.

The name of S.1177, which now sits in the Senate on Capitol Hill, is also: “The Every Child Achieves Act of 2015,” “No Child Left Behind – rewritten,” “Elementary and Secondary Education Act,” and is virtually the same as House Bill HR5, “The Student Success Act” which passed the House yesterday.

Just say NO to government money and get a better education...of course communist Maryland could never do that. Hell they would even forego federal dollars to make it legal for kids are old enough to die for the country but not old enough to drink

Let's fund our schools locally and not accept their funds. Vote a State and Federal tax waiver in the next State election RE: 10th Amendment. Abolish our present appointed BOE.

Vote locally, teach locally, vouchers for all.

Nothing in the Constitution requiring us to participate in any of this present mess.

We'd wind up with more money than what is doled out to us now by the Fed & State!
