Disciplinary Threat Scares DHS

Facing the possibility of disciplinary action, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson decided now’s a good time to comply with Rule of Law.

Writing at National Review, Hans von Spakovsky reports that Johnson “has finally taken action to reverse the three-year work authorizations his department issued unlawfully to 2,500 illegal aliens.”

Federal Judge Andrew Hanen issued an injunction temporarily banning the procedure in February and reaffirmed that ruling in April. But Obama’s aristocrats decided to grant thousands of illegal immigrants amnesty anyway, giving Judge Hanen no other choice but to order them to court.

He insisted, “Each individual Defendant must attend and be prepared to show why he or she should not be held in contempt of Court.”

That evidently rattled Johnson, promoting him to hastily reverse course.

Hopefully this judge will hang a carcass or two on the fence.
It's time for the lawless ones to be held accountable.
