Politico: Donald Trump Terrifies Republican Establishment

All jokes aside, the Republican Party is officially afraid of Donald Trump.

He has virtually zero chance of winning the presidential nomination. But insiders worry that the loud-mouthed mogul is more than just a minor comedic nuisance on cable news; they fret that he’s a loose cannon whose rants about Mexicans and scorched-earth attacks on his rivals will damage the eventual nominee and hurt a party struggling to connect with women and minorities and desperate to win.

“Donald Trump is like watching a road-side accident,” said former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer. “Everybody pulls over to see the mess. And Trump thinks that’s entertainment. But running for president is serious. And the risk for the party is he tarnishes everybody.”

Donald Trump is a leader, is a self-made man and doesn't take BS from anybody. That's exactly what this country needs after years of panty-waist buffoons afraid of their own shadows.

What a joke

He won't follow the party line, he will make his own mind up. And that is why the established parties won't back him. It isn't about electing a leader, it is about the two parties deciding who best represents THEIR interest, and all we get to do is pick the lesser of two evils.

He'd have a better chance as an Independent.

Maybe Pres. Trump can take a bulldozer to K Street NW Wash., DC

His dad left him almost a 500 million. You are way off. He is also known as a sell out to any 282 teamster working in NY.

Just how do you think he made his money? Besides the paid for company his daddy gave and the numerous govt bail outs he still managed to go backrupt 4 times. Who do you think pays of the money owed?!!! We do.

We would vote for him. He tells it like it really is.

In 1979 and early 1980 Ronald Reagan was dismissed as just a "movie actor" not qualified to run for office. You see how that turned out. I would put Mr. Trump in the same category.

That was joke and you damn well know it. If not your as dumb as your post.

822. What has he done for the American people? His multiple bankruptcy

Trump won't have to go through congress or the senate. He won't be subject to the hurdles that the rest would have if elected.A very powerful group advised him to run and that group will clear the path ahead of his every move. That particular group scares me,because if they can do all of that they can guarantee he's elected.I'm absolutely voting, but I'm not really sure how much it will mean, given the aforementioned.
