OFFICER RISKS OWN LIFE TO SAVE DRUNK DRIVER ON HIGHWAY

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A police officer risked his own life to save a drunk driver on an Ohio highway.

The officer pulled over the driver near Cleveland for speeding. Suddenly the driver jumped out of the car and walked right into traffic on a busy highway, reportedly yelling "just kill me!"

The officer didn't waste a second - he ran after the driver, and then dragged him across the highway to safety.

Police say the driver's blood alcohol was nearly four times the legal limit. No one was hurt.

Risked his life? I don't see a car anywhere on the highway. It appears to be closed down.
And secondly. Why is this news? He did his damn job. He did what is expected. If not for the perp then the public supposedly driving on the highway.
