Boaters Aid Family Music Fest 4th of July Weekend in OC, MD

“THE BOATERS AID FAMILY MUSIC FESTIVAL”
IS WAKING MUSIC ON THE BAY WITH ALL-STAR LINE-UP INCLUDING THE GUESS WHO

THREE-DAY FOURTH OF JULY EVENT TO BE HELD IN THE WATER OF THE ISLE OF WIGHT BAY

OCEAN CITY, MD –
Music and boat lovers, start your engines… your boat engines that is. For the very first time in Ocean City history, the region will host a live concert and entertainment festival entirely on the water thanks to Event Specialist Allen Barzak.

The Boaters Aid Family Music Festival, which kicks off Friday, July 3 and runs through Sunday, July 5, has been designed so that almost every element is in the Isle of Wight Bay (between Ocean City and Ocean Pines). From the actual stage that artists perform on, to the games and activities provided for the children to the barge seating provided for those who do not have a boat, many elements of the festival are literally in the water.

“We wanted to create a truly unique experience that every one will enjoy,” said Barzak. “I took years of logistical planning, but I am proud to say that I have done it. I have brought some of the industry’s top musical acts to the region in a fun and exciting setting that no one will forget.”

Headlining The Boaters Aid Family Music Festival is Three-Time U.S. Platinum-Selling Rock Band The Guess Who, who performs on July 3 at 4:30 PM. Other notable performers include Platinum-Selling, Country Music Super Star Jo Dee Messina, who will perform on July 4 at 4:30 PM, and Heart By Heart, a band that features original Heart members and Hall of Fame inductees Steve Fossen and Mike Derossier, who will perform on July 5 at 4:30 PM.

In addition to the headliners, a DJ spinning music begins daily at 11 AM and a roster of live bands starts daily at 12:30 PM. Boaters safety tips, treasure hunts, volleyball games, kayak races, raffles and 50/50 drawings, and giveaways will also occur throughout the weekend. Fireworks will be able to be seen after the show on the Fourth of July.

All attendees must arrive via watercraft however those without a boat can still attend and utilize the shuttle service that will be available at several locations. The shuttle service will take ticket holders to a barge where seats will be provided. For a schedule of updated shuttle services, please visit http://www.boatersaidmusicfest.com.

The Boaters Aid Family Music Festival is a BYOB event however there will be food concession stands provided by Weitzel’s.

Tickets for the festival range from a $50.00 - $75.00 donation per person (general admission) to $75.00-$150.00 donation per person (VIP). A portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets are available at http://www.mdtix.com/boatersaidmusicfest. ABOUT ALLEN BARZAK

For over 30 years, Allen Barzak has become regarded as a highly acclaimed event specialist in the state of Florida for his unique approach to planning and execution. A visionary in the industry, Barzak was one of the first to create a full-service company that encompasses every element needed for a successful event. By offering clients services like photography, DJs, limousine rentals, décor specialists, lighting and even tuxedo rentals, Barzak discovered a way to mitigate the need to outsource vendors, thus cutting costs and minimalizing stress and time on the client’s behalf.

Today, Barzak lives with his wife in Ocean City, MD and is utilizing this same revolutionary thinking and applying it to the entertainment industry. Continually seeking ways to “do things a little differently”, his first venture in the region is The Boaters Aid Family Music Festival. However, Barzak has no plans to stop here. He already has many similar festivals in the works across the U.S.
