Outrage Over Public Defender’s Arrest Caught on Video: ‘This Is Not Guantanamo Bay’
San Francisco Deputy Public Defender Jami Tillotson was in a courtroom in the city’s Hall of Justice when she got the word: Police were interviewing and taking photographs of a client of hers elsewhere in the building.
So Tillotson left the courtroom, got to her client, and told him he didn’t have to answer any questions from police; she added to the inspector present that he had no right to take photos of her client or her client’s friend, who was also there, the San Francisco Examiner reported.
Soon someone started recording Tuesday’s incident on a cellphone camera.

Cops will intentionally push and completely disregard boundaries and laws if there is no one there to stop them. That is exactly how they are trained and it's exactly why they don't want video, in their cars or on their person. It exposes them for exactly who they are and what they do and how often they do break the law and act like raving sociapath zealots.

The police asked her to move , she refused , they just wanted a picture. They told her she could resume her activity with her client when they were finished taking pictures.
The lady is not above the law , she may think so , but , I would have done the same.
They were using cameras you idiot!!

6:09 you are a blathering idiot. If we can take pictures of them(you), they(you) can surely take pictures of us. The lady should have agreed to step aside for a moment, but she was hardly resisting arrest. I'm sure that she was released around the next corner.
As to being trained that way, I doubt it. They just learn that they are above the law from their officer buddies who are already acting that way.
Did you read the article? The police have not authority to do what they were trying to do. In a gots to go type of situation.
This is common, police do it all the time, just ask Wicomico County Deputy Howard Phillips, it’s ok for police to issue an unlawful order and then make an illegal arrest. If you don’t do as they ask, they will ignore the fact that there is something called the constitution.
Someday we may see the video of a pig demanding the customer in front of him to “step aside” so that the pig can get to his/her donut 60 seconds quicker. If you ignore the unlawful demand of the pig, the pig will arrest you for obstructing and hindering and when you try to stand your ground (use your right to NOT follow the unlawful order) the pig will charge you with resisting arrest.
So the lesson here for you sheeple is: get out of the way of the pig, he/she will arrest you for obstructing and hindering. Don’t hesitate or you’ll be charged with resisting too.
Cops shouldn't be taking pictures of people for no reason. How about people start taking photos of local Leos their families and friends.
Some blonde headed Sgt at MSP Salisbury threatened to arrest me yesterday for asking why state police cars have no accountability after they couldn't answer why all their resources were deployed yet a dot marked vehicle was rolling 90mph. They said must be from across the bridge responding. What? No GPS. And you have an officer you have no idea who it is responding to a call you have no idea about? I asked to speak to the 1st Sgt. A Sgt named Russo identified himself as a first Sgt. When I asked if it was really his rank the threat of arrest happened. This was yesterday. I'll be stopping in to let Joe hear the recorded calls made to the local scale house and Salisbury barracks along with pikesvilles H Q. Already sent the tapes to gov hogans office.
