does anybody else find it ironic that non-profit organizations funded by free money want to train people how to make money?

They must be doing a great job when 1 out of every 4 businesses fail in the first five years. Why not try to save those new businesses that are on the ropes by using your expertise to help them succeed. Focus on the reasons that new businesses get in trouble, and provide solutions. BTW, most new start ups come from people who worked for a company that went out of business.

About new businesses.. It isn't enough to be expert at the primary purpose of your business. You must be an accountant-or hire one; financeer / banker-or hire one; insurance expert- or hire one; lawyer-or hire one; money collector-or hire one; mechanic-or hire one; purchasing expert-or hire one; state & federal regulations expert-or hire one; income tax expert-or hire one; auto / truck driver-or hire one; etc etc. Now you see why so many do not succeed.
