Look where all the traffic stops are. GEE willakers, they're all in black neighborhoods.
They are not "traffic" stops, they are drug/gun checks.

Looking at this , it appears that the Salisbury police don't respond to many calls in the city.
WTF is going on?

Mmmm , the city police are too busy?
Crime is way down in the city!
Just a few armed robberies an a$$ kickin to an elderly man and maybe a rape or two.

If the Sheriff's Dept. is responding to so many calls in the city, why do we have two departments? Both city and county should have been combined years ago to have one department and work together - I guess it makes sense, that's why they don't do it. All city/county governments should be combined.

8:04, Let's not forget that Salisbury is in the County. Let's also be grateful that Sheriff Lewis is so willing to step in and help the SPD.

We're in a DEPRESSION and crime is going up. Yes, there are some areas around Washington, D.C. that are not experiencing the financial difficulties the Eastern Shore is but never forget where we stand financially on the Shore. No Jobs, Foreclosures, look at yesterdays Jobs Report, it's really bad here.

That being said, Thanks Mike Lewis and Bob Culer!

Oh, I should add!!!!!

Mayor Jim Ireton wants to charge the COUNTY for the Fire Service, yet you NEVER hear Mike Lewis complaining about the services the County provides to the City. HOW CONVENIENT OF JIMMY!

That's probably because those salisbury addresses are either county owned property or areas zoned county with a salisbury address. Look at your street signs. If they're white they're county, green is city. The only green signed addresses on this list are county govt buildings. So please educate yourself on why the WCSO is at these addresses before you try to turn this into a political tirade against the mayor. Not saying he doesn't give enough ammo elsewhere, but your off base here.
