Delmarva Power should be sending out messages to ALL of their customers about this scam. From what I have heard so far, they have not.
Imagine that, got that call this morning and told them do not call my number any more and hung up on them.
Tried to get my friends business.
The scam is the monthly electric bill.
This is the THIRD scam that I am aware of. It almost seems like DPL is a part of it because they do NOTHING to warn their customers. Whenever I get a call from anyone saying they are from DPL I tell them I am not going to talk to them because of all the phony scams going on. Sounds like if DPL wants any credibility out there they better take some action. They will NEVER be able to call customers and be believable.
