I am getting sick of seeing all these EMS calls for service knowing that we are paying way to much for paid firemen to sleep at night.

I heard earlier that the Salisbury Fire Department had a fire engine for Station 2 helping lift a patient for the ambulance and then it called for a fire engine from the paid crew on Cypress St. That engine responded and Utility 2 responded to assist at Salisbury Nursing Home. Please help me with this thought? Doesn't anyone else think there are enough employees at the nursing home to help with lifting assistance? After all Salisbury Nursing Home is one of the largest employers in Wicomico County? Someone needs to pay for that ignorance and laziness. Charge the nursing home for the city resources and fire the paid chief that allowed that nonsense to happen.
