Narrative: On 08/04/2014 @ approximately 2044hrs a Trooper form the Maryland State Police Barrack “V” Berlin Barracks was working a radar assignment in the area of N/B 113 at 575 when he observed a black BMW passenger car travelling at a speed of 87 mph in a 55 mph zone. The operator also attempted to pass a vehicle on the grassy shoulder and lost control of vehicle and nearly struck a guardrail.

The Trooper then initiated a traffic stop on the above vehicle and immediately smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle.

A probable cause search was conducted of the vehicle and the occupants.

Troopers subsequently located 63.29 grams of marijuana and two scales in the vehicle.

All occupants were interviewed and no one had any knowledge of the marijuana and the scales.

All occupants were charged with Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute, Possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition to the above charges, the operator, Mehdi Mollah was also charged with DUI and related traffic charges.

Disposition: All taken to the District Court Commissioner and released on $10,000 Un-Secured Bond
