Berlin MSP Press Release 8-20-14 (DUI Related Collision‏)

Location:        13004 Bowline Lane, West Ocean City, Worcester County

Vehicle Operator:   Ryan Littleton Orndorff of Clarksville, MD, W/M, Age 30 years

Narrative:    On August 20, 2014, at approximately 0027 hrs, troopers with the assistance of the WCSO were dispatched to 13004 Bowline Lane in West Ocean City for a reported hit and run collision.  Upon the arrival of troopers and the subsequent investigation it was determined Ryan Littleton Orndorff was operating a 2008 Ford pick-up truck when he struck another vehicle while attempting to park.  The owners of the vehicle struck witnessed the collision and confronted Orndorff as he attempted to drive away, but he was able to drive away from the scene prior to the troopers arriving.  Orndorff attempted to conceal the location of the vehicle he was operating; however, it was found a short time later on the far side of the condominium complex.  Orndorff exhibited signs of impairment and he was arrested for DUI.  He submitted to a breath test yielding a result of 0.22 grams of alcohol.
