O'Malley Meeting With Religious Leaders On Immigrant Housing

Governor Martin O’Malley is asking religious leaders to come to Annapolis Monday to discuss housing for some of the thousands of children and teens coming into the U.S. illegally from Central America.

After criticizing the White House for taking steps to deport these children, and then telling White House officials not to house them at an old Army Reserve Center in Westminster, the governor said that he is willing to have some of these children housed in Maryland.

Last week, the governor told WBAL News that Maryland has an obligation to house some of these children.

Now I expect every single democrat to be in Annapolis making sure no government funding is promised to these faith based groups. When President Bush signed into law allowing tax payer money to go to religious groups, the democrats had a fit.
It's high time all you democrats show a bit of integrity and stand for something by refusing to allow omally to give any money for any reason to religious groups.
This will never happen though because integrity and standing on principles is a foreign concept to democrats. They will sell their soul for a vote even to the detriment of their own children.

"Charity begins at home." Take care of our children and homeless before we accept illegal immigrants. Close the borders now.

Just not near his house

Why do Marylanders have an obligation to support criminals? Folks, November is coming and it's time to clean house of liberal politicians.

If any of my tax money is spent to support any religious group I will sue! And, I am a Christian. But, we still have laws of Church and State Separation.

No doubt they will end up on the Eastern Shore.

And in our public schools.

The citizens living on the border should exercise their right to defend themselves and shoot every single one that encroaches their property.

Owe'Malley speaks out of both sides of his mouth. He doesn't want the kids, he wants the federal dollars.

Isn't it amazing how liberals want nothing to do with religion, or for you to have anything to do with religion, until they have a crises they can't deal with? Then they turn to the "faith based groups". I love the hypocrisy of the left.

Sorry 4:15 but Faith Based Groups were hooked to the government by George W. You bought it you fix it.

And what legislation do you offer to support that conclusion, 6:45? Looks like a matter of convenience for your Dear Leader - nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, I agree. George W. realized that religion has a place in our society. He did not try to purge it. And by the way - what does "You bought it you fix it" mean?

And the democrats had a fit when he signed the faith based funding into law. Just because something is a law doesn't mean they have to utilize it and the democrats wouldn't if they had any principles.
