Great job, Trooper!

Wait I thought you all hated the cops because we're nothing but revenue collectors, jackbooted thugs, and murderers. Wish you guys would make up your minds.

The lack of intelligence from the average criminal sure does help law enforcement do it's job....thanks Tpr. Pollmeier

We do hate you, you nazi POS. About time you did some actual police work, and guess how it started? Traffic violation, probably no seat belt. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.

I can't believe the idiots who come on here and bash the police! thus this trooper. Over a pound of heroin off the streets of Salisbury plus a gun. What' don't some posters get about the out of control heroin problem here and the threat that it poses to public safety. Go trooper. Thank you for putting your life on the line to get this potential killer off the streets. Yes, local people are dying every day from heroin overdose. The County Executive doesn't want you to know the magnitude of the problem.
Also, thank you Joe. The only other place I've seen this is WMDT.

Glad it is off the street!

Wow traffic violation led to this and everyone that complains about MSP running radar. You drive on the roads obey the laws and you could carry a ton of dope because they have to have probably cause to stop you. Make sure all your lights work.

That wasn't a "traffic violation"....that was the cover story to protect the informant.
You people can't be so naive as to think this was mere coincidence.
Like police will tell you, they can pull anyone over at anytime. They can make up a reason if they need to, but again, he wasn't "lucky" or doing a good job "patrolling". He was the beneficiary of undercover police work.
But I am damn glad the heroin and gun is off the street. THAT'S the criminals (and the whole chain of burglaries, robberies, fencing of stolen goods, and violence that they produce) I want to see off the streets.
Put more cops on THAT stuff....you'll hear more good things fron the citizenry about how well the cops are actually SERVING and PROTECTING and not producing revenue, which, by the way, is STILL their priority. Along with making sure you know who the real masters are...

12:32 PM I do believe that it could have been a traffic stop or it could have been from a CI. and as far as making up a violation to stop a person would be like saying all cops are dishonest. If they are dishonest and represent you, me, my neighbors, that's like saying you can trust anyone. Maybe you should look deep within yourself as maybe dishonesty is a way of life for you. I think most people are honest, trusting and good. Must be at least one good cop out there?

it was no traffic violation. how stupid can you people be? the government tracks your every text phone call and movement. You think they weren't watching this individual for some time, just waiting? lmao! idiots!
Now maybe if they could get more kops to do this kind of work !
