Public Pre-School Becomes Campaign Issue

As long as they keep unions, common-core, and everyone passes as part of the system, the achievement gap will continue to widen.....
These guys need to go back to pre-k and get some common-sense!

They need to go back to grading the actual achievements. Just like equal work - equal pay. How about equal test score - equal grade!!! Not the black kid gets one grade & the white kid with the identical paper gets a lower grade.
I had to work & pay for my child's pre-K.
the contradiction.. we start earlier to bridge the gap and then we dumb down later to bridge the gap.. This has nothing to do with bridging any gap. This is about creating free baby sitters so the lazy ass freeloaders can go off and party and have someone else watch their kids...
I have a novel idea. Parents read to your pre school children. Take them to the library programs. Show them how to color. Have them watch educational videos. When parents prep their pre school children they are better learners in school.
Pre-k programs do nothing to raise achievement. By third grade, there is no evidence of the "head start" these programs are supposed to provide. It's like letting a non-runner start a race a few seconds before everyone else. There's no difference in the outcome.
