Not Much Has Changed

Not much has improved since I broke my hand. I'm truly getting used to doing things left handed.I don't LIKE it but I'm getting it done. ARGH!

Something tells me you aren't a vacation person. You've probably worked through injuries all of your life.

8:34, Spot on.

how did you break ur hand?

The swelling and any pain should subside within 2-3 weeks after the injury, so while your hand still looks bad, it's perfectly normal at this stage.
On a side note-the DT's has the first of a 2 day exposé on the WicCo BOE egregious spending.
Can't they ever come up with their own original stories instead of copying off Salisbury News. They ride the coattails of this blog on a regular basis.

That's ok Joe, I really don't NEED to know how you broke your hand. Just curious and I didn't know you had broken it. Heal quickly.

I'll give then a pass on the lag time because you can bet the BOE gave them the stall job when it came to producing the records needed for the article.

In my opinion they twisted the story to make Fredrickson less accountable and threw other employees under the bus! It's funny how there are some who criticize sbynews yet you break all the stories before everyone else! Way to go!

Glad your not waiting at a VA hospital.

I don't think so 10:08. Frederickson is ultimately to blame. Those employees inclined toward this type of theft (and yes it's theft) know the tone he has set within the BOE. They know when he will look the other way, what's acceptable and what is not. Now I'm not saying all named are guilty of theft but many of the transactions (unless and until they are explained in detail) can be construed as less than honest which equates to common theft. The bench purchase for one is without a doubt over the limit of what is acceptable.

VA as in single payer 11:17? The problems we are hearing within the VA are the exact same ones those living in countries with single payer systems experience.
I happen to have personal knowledge of this. A radiologist I know left a practice in a major US east coast city and opened a practice near the Canadian border. The overwhelming number of his patients are Canadians who don't want to wait the long wait for diagnostics in that country.

Damn they are some ugly hands!! You should have been a hand model. NOT!!

Just kidding! I do feel your pain.

On the positive side, you will probably find an advantage in being almost ambidextrous after your hand heals (assuming the injured hand was dominant). Push it to the limit.

I hope your hand heals quickly and that you feel better soon.

Dr. Freddy is the blame. He is defending their actions and actually condones it.

At least consider acupuncture if it persists.

Joe, Please make sure you follow-up with an orthopedic physician. They have all kinds of casts that will stabilize your hand better and allow it to heal properly. You will be better off in the long run. Down the road you could face surgery if you don't let it heal properly now. Trust me being hard headed in this situation is not the answer. :-)

Hope your hand heals quickly and you are back to normal real soon.
Speedy recovery coming your way.
