There is a difference in a stripper and a pole dancer.
This is why we need a couple of strip clubs here in Salisbury. These kids need a place to make a big pile of money, and stripping pays very well.
There are appealing jobs, and jobs apeeling.

Independent contractors with no insurance, no guarantee of pay, but the ability to work hard and get paid for you ability? That used to be the American way. It's her life and her decision, leave her alone. BTW 7:26, degrading is a student that is a degree that has no job prospects, and that graduate is paying for this the rest of their life. So would you rather be a dancer or a slave?

It's her choice. Freedom of choice is what people have died for in this country. We'll be remembering that sacrifice this holiday weekend. She may not feel degraded by this work, but empowered. Leave her alone.

Also, you must be one of those that think women actually like stripping when in reality most have been sexually abused as children and this is how it plays out in their messed up lives. Men who pay girls like this are cowards and creeps.

I consider myself to be a feminist supporter and I think this young woman is using her head and we will see her going places in the future. If this pays her bills and she is happy and the venue protects their dancers.... I have no problem. I agree that waiting tables is much more degrading. I did it to get through school and people were a total pain ITA.
