Resume:
New Castle – A New Castle man is in custody after being charged with several counts of rape.

The investigation began in January 2013 when a 25-year-old female reported that Jorge Arellano, 35, confronted her in a Wilmington-area parking lot, forced her into his vehicle at gunpoint, and touched her inappropriately while threatening her. The victim, who knew Arellano, was eventually allowed to leave the vehicle.

Troopers determined that Arellano was also wanted by the Dover Police Department for a May 2011 burglary of the same victim's residence, where Arellano had broken into the home through a window and assaulted the victim and a male acquaintance.

As Troopers searched for Arellano and continued the investigation, they learned Arellano had forcibly raped the same victim nine times in 2010 and 2011, at residences in Kent and New Castle County. Troopers obtained an additional arrest warrant for these crimes.

Troopers apprehended Arellano yesterday evening on U.S. Route 13 in the area of School Lane during a traffic stop. He provided a false name but the Troopers were able to determine his true identity. Arellano was transported to Troop 2, charged with nine counts of rape first degree and related charges, and arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 11. He was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institute on $1,708,000 cash bail.

Speaking of being illegal. This afternoon I was almost in 2 accidents because of 2 illegals pulling in front of me. One was doing a 90 degree right on College Ave Specific Gravity. I really think if the police department pull many of them over and I bet they are illegal. Go into Wawa any morning and they outnumber locals. Scary. They are now taking over the ghettos.
