Parents Finally Revolting

As those in power continue to hang onto the 19th century model of education or accept Common Core indoctrination for their students, parents are moving toward becoming the “deciders” as they chose charter and private schools, homeschooling, and online programs, it is leaving thousands of empty school buildings all across America.

According to a recent study among the cities with vacant school buildings are
Atlanta
Chicago
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Detroit
Kansas City
Milwakee
Philadelphia
Pittsburg
St. Louis
Tulsa
Washington

Author Glenn H. Reynolds provides insights into why parents are abandoning traditional public education and why it will continue to be abandoned. In “The New School” book he maintains that the concept of “one size fits all” mentality by educators is driving the demise of the public school system. He examines how the leftist university bias further exacerbates programs that have little to do with teaching students how to learn and think.

as Clinton and Obama front man Podesta says the children belong to all of us. What the libs really mean is they want to indoctrinate your children to serve them and their liberal causes! My children belongs to no one! They are each their own person perfectly able to think and decide for themselves. f the system!

The idea of holding everybody back so a particular group can hog the resources is unfair to all except the lowest achievers. Time for parents to complain about heterogeneous grouping that does nothing for average and above average learners.

Professor Reynolds has a fabulous blog of his own; teaches law; respects our Constitution, is published by WSJ, USAToday, NYTimes and others. Don't let those papers dissuade you from checking his blog out.
