GUESS WHO’S FOOTING THE BILL FOR THAT WALMART FOOD STAMP FIASCO (IT MAY NOT BE WHO YOU THINK)

Walmart will be on the hook for the glitch-prompted shopping spree that nearly wiped out stores in Louisiana after the Electronic Benefit Transfer system temporarily removed spending limits on food stamp recipients’ cards.

The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, which oversees the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known as SNAP, said Walmart will have to foot the bill for store losses in Springhill and Mansfield, La., during a food shopping frenzy.

If Walmart allowed these folks to go on shopping sprees like that, they should be responsible! They can afford it!

6:12, you are too stupid to be online. Walmart isn't paying it. The consumer is thru higher prices. Keep drinking that koolaide, and believing what the MSM spoonfeeds you.

7:09 come on now, do you kiss your mother with that mouth? Everyone knows no SNAP card is unlimited. They did it, they should pay for it. You don't like it then shop some where else. I will without calling names. Grow up I won't tell you to drink koolaide cause I'm sure you must be drinking something stronger. What spoon feeds you?

There are many people to blame. You could blame xerox for their glitch. Walmart for allowing such large purchases or how about we blame the person that thought it was ok to steal the items in the first place. Walmart has a record of each transaction. They should prosecute each and every one of them for theft.

The whole situation makes you kinda wonder. Seems the issue was with only a couple of stores.
Locally, we must have some pretty intelligent management, to simply state, sux to be you, but your card won't work, come back later. You have to be brainless not question the process once they pulled up with their 3rd and 4th cart full of food. On a normal day, do they usually have 4 carts of food?
We will end up paying for it.
Walmart won't
expect higher prices as your reward for the generosity.
