Duty to God & Country Prayer Breakfast To Be Held at Wicomico Youth & Civic Center

The Del-Mar-Va Council, Boy Scouts of America Duty to God & Country Prayer Breakfast will be held in the Midway Room at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013 at 7:15 a.m.

The event is held in celebration of the 12th point of The Scout Law, “A Scout is Reverent” and to honor the veterans within the community. Special guest Paul Butler, WBOC News Anchor, author and lecturer, will be attending the event as the keynote speaker. Butler completed his bachelor’s degree in communications at Salisbury University in 1985 and uses his spare time to mentor and give inspirational talks to high school and college students. Butler’s passion is to encourage and promote fundraising to help raise awareness to beneficial clubs, campaigns and relief efforts.

Doors open at 6:45 a.m. and the opening ceremony and breakfast start at 7:15 a.m. Tickets are $30 per person or $250 for a table of eight. Seating preferences are based on actual reservation date (seating is limited), RSVP on or before Oct. 25, 2013.

Actually, the question is which God are you praying to? Because the boy scouts openly embrace homosexuals for their youth, it's obviously not the Christian God they were praying too. "God made them male and family, and said, For this shall a man leaves his father and mother, and shall come together to his wife: and they two shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What God joined together, let not man separate." Matthew 19:4-6
