Woman's Body Pulled From Water After Car Found Abandoned On Bay Bridge

SANDY POINT — Officials recovered the body of a woman from the waters under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Friday morning, Aug. 16, shortly after an abandoned car was found on the bridge.

Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded to reports of an abandoned 2011 GMC SUV in the eastbound right lane near mile marker 33.7, just prior to the main span, at 9:45 a.m., said First Sgt. Jonathan Green, MdTA public information officer. Police removed the vehicle from the bridge. It had Maryland tags, he said.

She probably stopped to take a picture, had to run to the side to avoid traffic, tripped, and fell over the Jersey Barrier, proved time and again inadequate to prevent falling off the bridge. The family will receive millions of State (your) money in punitive damages. Here's my contribution.
