Md. Nets 27.6 Percent More In Gambling Revenue

The state of Maryland netted nearly $830 million in lottery and casino revenues in the last fiscal year.

The Maryland Lottery said Thursday that is an increase of 27.6 percent from the previous fiscal year.

The money will go to the state's general fund and a trust fund for education.

Now THIS is something we can build on. Give people benefits, far exceeding their need... allow them to "cash out" their extra FREE money, and spend it on lotto. GENIUS.

And by "general fund" and "trust fund for education", they mean trips, dining and hookers/blow.
