Obama Has Approved Tens Of Millions To Pay The Salaries For The Syrian Rebels

WASHINGTON — The United States has been paying thousands of Syrian police officers who deserted the regime of President Bashar Assad.

Officials said the administration of President Barack Obama has approved tens of millions of dollars to pay the salaries of police officers who joined the rebels. They said the officers were working to maintain order in rebel-controlled territory, mostly in northern Syria.“There are literally thousands of defected police inside of Syria,”  Assistant Secretary of State Rick Barton said. “They are credible in their communities because they’ve defected.”

The Syrian rebels are Al Qaeda. Just two weeks ago the White House was concerned funding would fall into the wrong hands. But now with the Zimmerman / Trayvon distraction, it's ok to pay "former cops" who are now Al Qaeda.

Like the millions of dollars the CIA went into Afghanistan with in the beginning, to pay off war lords in the hunt for Bin Ladin, they found him 10 years later. They blow money like pimps in Vegas!

if you can't wrap your head around the fact that "the rebels" aren't some single entity but a multifaceted movement of groups broken down by varying political, religious, and ethnic lines, you probably don't need to be involved in this debate.

Exactly 5:38, why would we blindly throw money at an opposition force?
