I Know My Master Is There And That Is Enough

A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,

“Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side.”

Very quietly, the doctor said, “I don't know.”

“You don't know? You're, a Christian man, and don't know what's on the other side?”

The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,

And as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said,

“Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing...

I know my Master is there and that is enough.”

Well said Doctor.

Death is just that, death. NOTHING AFTER. It was created to make people less afraid of death.

Death is the passage through to your next life; born again, if you will. You will find yourself waking up when the doctor slaps your butt, get your cord cut, washed up and sent to be on your way in your new life of whoever you earned yourself to be in your past life! I look forward to it!

It is EXTREMELY difficult for the non-believers to explain the people who have been declared dead (no heartbeat, no response to pain, and no oxygen to the brain for 40 minutes to over an hour) and woke up in perfect health with clear descriptions of what had been going on around them and decriptions of the afterlife. No oxygen to the brain for more than a few minutes and you're lucky to be able to count to 3 or drink a glass of water on your own. God says everyone will hear the truth and the Word. You get to CHOOSE what you will believe. And be judged on your choice. Good luck.

Interestingly enough, every person who "comes back from the dead" usually describes their sect of their religions afterlife story.
Be it Christian, Muslim, etc.

All of the stories differ. If there was any relevance or cohesion to this "afterlife" story, they would all be identical, and in fact... they are not.

There are biochemical processes that happen in the brain during death, which causes the brain to react in this way... giving the illusion of afterlife, to everyone. The more "likely" reality, is that this is just a biological response, and people are filling in the blanks with their particular brand of religiosity.
