Crabs, Clams And Pols in Crisfield Heat: A Tawes Photo Gallery

Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman walks and talks with
businessman Larry Hogan and his Change Maryland entourage.

Everybody political in Maryland goes to the Tawes Crab and Clam Bake in Crisfield because everybody goes to Tawes. Or at least a lot of people keep up the annual tradition on what is typically one of the hottest days of the year.

On Wednesday it was hot and humid as usual, the crabs were plentiful and so was the politics. In State Roundup, we’ll link to stories about the crab feast from other reporters who were there. Here’s a photo gallery from the sweltering event.

Want to know why your taxes are so high? Go to the clam bake. Notice all the state vehicles driven to get there. Besides the cost of driving the car, you're also paying for the people who rode in it to sit at an expensive tent and eat crabs!

Looks like a free crab feast for the politicians, the Gov media, and their lobby buds! In the poorest county in the state. And the lesser crowd of "paying customers", ya know, average citizens? Nothing to see here, move along....
