Four teens will be tried as adults in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of an 89-year-old woman, the Attorney General's Office announced April 9.

The four teens were indicted following an investigation into their March 20 arrest, said Jason Miller, spokesman for the Attorney General's Office.

excellent and their parents should be on trial also.

Just lock them in a trunk and let them rot, problem solved.

Products of our welfare system.

They're just kids for crying out loud. All kids make mistakes once in a while. Give em a break.

The welfare system can reproduce?!

The welfare system does reproduce... Its called Michelle and Barrack Obama.

If they had more kids, they would look just like these

12:05 I hope you are being sarcastic with the "they're just kids for crying out loud" comment. Those "just kids" locked an 89 year old woman in the trunk and left her there overnight while they partied in a motel. Those "just kids" are lucky the woman didn't die.
Kids these days are mean, nasty, and deadly. I say charge them as adults and let the chips fall where they may--it won't make much difference anyway. Even if they were charged as adults and given a ten year sentence they would do what, about a year maybe. I look at kids today and thank God that I am getting old and have none. If they are "our future", it is looking pretty bleak.

Old enough to know right from wrong, they should be.

Great point 8:06! The Obama's are a prime example of what the system can produce. You have two people that used the support they were given to take advantage of the educational opportunities provided to become successfull individuals. You have a man and a woman who got married, THEN decided to start a family. And they have two children that could very well follow in their parents' footsteps. Put away your partisan political blinders for a minute and I'm sure you'll agree that anyone would love to see their child reach the same level of success.

as part of their sentencing they should be publicly spanked.

12:05 Yes, kids do stupid stuff...like rolling a house in toilet paper, painting graffiti on a wall, maybe shoplift, drink underage, use of tobacco, etc. Your typical "kid" doesn't abduct someone and rob them. They deserve to be tried as adults, and their parents should receive the same sentence.

Just kids, but nasty individuals nonetheless. Scary to think what the next generation will be like.

I'm ready to see all the details of this case. Sounds like the girls are the ones who actually abducted the lady. Little Philip looks like he probably jumped in the car at a later time just looking to head over to Mickey D's. If so, prime example for kids to watch who they hang with. Good riddance to these fools. Sorry but this attack goes well beyond kids just being kids.
