DENIED: GUN STORE OWNER REFUSES TO HAND AR-15 OVER TO MARK KELLY

Diamondback Police Supply owner Douglas MacKinlay has halted Mark Kelly's attempted purchase of an AR-15 over concerns that Kelly was not in fact buying the gun for himself, and therefore could not have passed question 11a of the NICS background check form 4473.

You'll recall Kelly's AR-15 had been on hold for 20 days because it was trade-in firearm, and during those 20 days Kelly has not been shy about the fact that his plan was to buy the gun and give it to someone else all along.

Gun store owner Doug MacKinlay has now released this statement:

Meanwhile this past weekend Mark Kelly his wife and his daughter were strolling Laguna Beach , his daughter lost control of her 65 lb. American Bulldog who proceeded to attack and kill a baby sea lion. Kelly eventually pulled the dog away by yanking it away instead of the correct way. Despite leash law AND Marine Mammal Protection Act, There will be absolutely no repurcussions to the Kelly's. Because they are progressive leftist Democrats pushing the anti-gun agenda-- exploiting his wife while he is at it. Imagin if Bush and his daughter had lost control of their dog and a baby seal was killed. Endless media coverage 24-7 for days.

Gun owner was correct in doing this b/c of the "STRAW PURCHASE" law; cannot buy a gun for someone else.

8:22 Oh my gosh! I just watched the horrific video! Just think if that was a child! Apparently his dog is more of a threat to Laguna than a gun.

10:12--Yes it was horrific, and the Kelly daughter obviously has no control over her dog. It could have easily been a child--and my guess is they still would get off scott-free.

Ban all dogs now.

In Maryland O'Malley will soon have a tax on the purchase of a dog or adopting one. Mathias, Conway and Cane will support it.

If I deliberately lie on a gun purchase application, ESPECIALLY if I BRAGGED that it was really a "straw purchase", how many cops would show up at MY house? Or be waiting for me outside of the gun shop after I picked up the rifle? Answer? Maybe none, because gun laws aren't really enforced. So we keep making new ones. And claim the new ones will actually stop criminals. Like the old ones did. Astronauts oughta stick to flying and politicians should stop moving so much when people are shooting at them.
