Interesting tid-bit here:

Wicomico County Public Schools Facebook page had the delay posted at 5:20!

Long before their website had it!

Somerset Staff has a two hr delay. Students have off today.

Students haven't been in school all week... and now they have a two hour delay on a Friday with the expectation of more snow this afternoon... hmmm... how much attention are they going to give today? Seems like a waste of time to me...

TGIF so everyone has time to gripe over how BOE handled Wic school delay. I believe so far only one has a problem with schools being open. Wonder how many would complain if Wic schools had been closed? You readers might not be so harsh if you would familiarize with the procedures involved with school delays and closing - guess it is easier to just complain

7:55 Enlighten us on the procedures.

Wicomico County knew last night how bad the roads were. They were not going to get any better overnight , probably even worse as it got colder. They should have announced last night a delay, not wait until this morning.
