Security Tech Company To Lay Off 25

Sotera Defense Solutions Inc., a national security technology company in Frederick, will lay off 25 employees effective Monday.

The Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations received Sotera's Work Adjustment and Retraining Notification notice about the layoffs in October, spokeswoman Maureen O'Connor said.

WARN offers protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of covered plant closings and covered mass layoffs. Plant closings and mass layoffs trigger WARN notices, the DLLR said.

This must be lie. obama just said our economy is rebounding and jobs are springing up everywhere. Maybe he was referring to his valets and guards, or the extra help needed to pack for an Hawaiian vacation. While the rest of us figure out how to pay the new tax bill he is happily anticipating sending to us.....

Bottom line. Obamacare. It will begin happening in mass on December 31st. The average person does not understand the effects that Obamacare will have on them simply because they have not paid attention. This law is a job killer. But, you know what, the people who voted for Obama don't have jobs anyway, so they don't care.
