ESPN suspended commentator Rob Parker on Friday for what the network called “inappropriate” comments about Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III and race.
Parker, who is black, questioned on air Thursday whether Griffin is “a cornball brother?”
Griffin was not available to reporters Friday. The Redskins declined to comment on the suspension. But Griffin’s father, Robert Griffin Jr., sent The Washington Times a Bible verse via text message.
“A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger,” he wrote, quoting the Book of Proverbs, Chapter 15. Verse 1.

Good..
He shouldn't be suspended, he should be FIRED immediately. This is just another form of racism, totally unacceptable in today's world, by anyone.
If he'd been white, he would've been fired.
Rob Parker is the 'cornball brother'
what exactly is a "cornball brother"?
Does being "black" mean you think all white people are "holding you down"? That all white people should vote for obama? That when the music starts, you starting bustin' some moves? That you shouldn't be respectful of others and speak normal English, grammatically correct and without anger and violence? What is this reporter saying, except "I'm racist, too, and I thought that I could be racist and, because I'm black, no one gets to call me racist!"? A WHITE reporter who said he didn't think Joe Biden was white enough would already be filing for unemployment and would have to becaome a bricklayer or something because the media would blackball (no pun intended) him.
