The Philadelphia cop caught on video punching a woman in the face will be fired, according to ABC News' Philadelphia station WPVI.
A video posted on YouTube shows Lt. Jonathan Josey punching a woman in the face and knocking her to the ground before she is led off bloodied and handcuffed.
Earlier today, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said it intends to drop the disorderly conduct charge against the woman who was hit.

if he has had 20 complaints against he probably done stuff like this hundreds of times. He is a big man to hit a small women when he could have questioned her or simply cuffed her. Philadelphia, the city of brotherly love, I would not want to live there or any other big city.
If he was white and she was black this would be a huge racial media blitz. Where is the outrage of the white population.

There won't be an outrage of the white society. Why? Because we don't play the race card every time something happens between two "different" people. The majority of people who make our society unequal are the ones who wanted equality to begin with. What's equal about black colleges, black organizations, black social benefits, black economic benefits, black scholarships, etc when it is deemed unacceptable to have a white counterpart to them? The NAACP is an accepted but what if there was a NAAWP - National Association for the Advancement of White People? Not acceptable right?
So let the black dude punch the white chick and let the white dude punch the black chick and leave it at that. No need to make it bigger than it really is. That one black cop doesn't represent the entire black population. And who's to say that the girl didn't deserve it? You just don't know until the dust has settled.
Besides, this shouldn't even be about race... A POLICE OFFICER PUNCHED SOMEBODY! That doesn't bother anybody more than race issues?

I was agreeing with you UNTIL you said maybe she deserved it. She did dump water on the officer and since his back was turned he had no idea what it was and in today's world it could have been anything she dumped on him. HOWEVER that does NOT give him the right to blindside her with a punch to the face.
