Wind Energy Press Conference In Annapolis

Maryland Could Make History in the Race for Offshore Wind

WHAT:           As the clock ticks down for Congress 
to extend critical tax credits for wind power, and as Maryland 
lawmakers look forward to another chance this spring to make offshore 
wind power a reality for Marylanders, local stakeholders including 
business leaders and environmental groups will release a new report 
identifying recent developments that could lead to offshore wind power 
becoming a reality for Maryland and other coastal states in the near 
future. The report was prepared by the National Wi  ldlife Federation, 
Environment America Research & Policy Center, and partner 
organizations, taking a fresh, honest look at how far offshore wind has 
advanced in Maryland and along the entire Atlantic coast, and the work 
still to be done.

just say YES to oil and coal now...

What is wrong with wind energy? Can't we use oil and coal AND wind? Wind never runs out. Never spills. Why not??

OFFSHORE wind, NO
LAND BASED wind, YES.
Show me the books on what has been built and what's being produced in profits first, though.
