‘WHITE PRIVILEGE’? PORTLAND PRINCIPAL CLAIMS PB&J SANDWICHES COULD HOLD RACIST CONNOTATIONS

Are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches racist? A bizarre question, to say the least, but one that at least one school administrator is asking out in Portland, Oregon. Verenice Gutierrez, principal at Harvey Scott K-8 School, seems to believe that there are racial connotations associated with the common lunch-time meal.
According to Gutierrez, using the example of a peanut butter sandwich in classroom lessons is technically a problematic and discriminatory move — one that was made by a teacher in her building last school year. While such a notion may bring out laughs among those who find it absurd, the principal explains her logic.
“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?,” she said. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”

I always new these sandwiches were racist. Most people used "WHITE" bread , which is also racist.
The NAACP has a list of racist food that includes:
1. white bread
2. pasta
3. white rice
4. flour
5. milk
other items :
1. white vehicles
2. white houses
3. white tee shirts
4. white paint
5. white paper products

On and on , ain't it great this racist country!

Okay, I read the whole article. This is nothing but a way to teach our chikdren that everything in the world is racist, even down to each and every food. Tacos to caviar, rocky mountain oysters to liver and onions.

I'm calling out the B.S. card and saying that teaching racism and division by class and skin color is wrong and always has been, and will be tomorrow. These "teachers" need to go get a job with the KKK.

6:17 It's why we need to get the communist NObama and his minions out of office.

Americans of common sense need to rise up and speak out. These people have to be stopped.

America MEANS FREEDOM.

Some people almost beg to be punched in the face.

"Welcome to America, please provide us with a list of changes we need to make to accomodate any cultural differences you may have from the majority of the American population."

I'm sorry, I thought assimilation worked the other way around.

The scary thing is that this "educated" person is teaching our children. Dangerous combination of racist and ignorant.

If these Somali or Hispanic or even blacks think that is racist......you can go back to your country and eat whatever you want! You are in AMERICA and if you don't like it leave. Maybe our country can get on with helping Americans if they were trying to feed, educate and make loans to foreign speaking and looking folks. Bye Bye!!!

BE an American. Not some "...../American". Assimiliate and be welcomed. Or go back to where you came from and start your own enclave there...

Our country as we knew it, no longer exists.

As long as liberalism prevails, people like the one is this article are allowed to spew hatred and stupidity, this country will not survive.
