40-year-old minister Freddie Combs arrives onstage in Greensboro in a wheelchair due to his 540 lb. frame. He nearly died in 2009 when he weighed 920 lbs. L.A. Reid called his voice "heavenly." His emotional performance of "The Wind Beneath My Wings" earned him four yeses. Simon Cowell challenged him to get healthy enough to sing standing up next time instead of in his wheelchair.
